Alberta Broadband Networks is a fibre optic broadband infrastructure provider, sponsored by Meridiam and Digital Infrastructure Group. We are working with communities across Alberta, Canada to close today’s digital divide by building reliable fibre optic infrastructure that will be sustainable for the next 100 years.

We specialize in developing, designing, building, financing, maintaining, and operating fibre broadband networks structured as either public private partnerships (PPP/P3) or privately funded infrastructure projects.

Alberta Broadband Networks is an affiliate of the Meridiam family.

Meridiam develops fibre optic infrastructure projects in Canada, USA, Austria, Germany and Romania.

Meridiam's presence in Alberta includes Edmonton’s northeast section of its Anthony Henday Drive and Calgary’s southwest section of its Stoney Trail ring road.
